Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Efficient Topeka Insulation Company, topekainsulationcompany.com, support@topekainsulationcompany.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Efficient Topeka Insulation Company website and any insulation work we do for you. By using the site, contacting us or scheduling work, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site, and feel free to call us at (785) 246-7785 with questions first.

In these terms, "we," "us" and "our" mean Efficient Topeka Insulation Company. "You" means the homeowner, property owner or visitor using the site or hiring us.

The information on this website is general and offered as is. We try to keep it accurate, but it isn't advice for your specific house until we've seen it in person.

The services we provide

We're an insulation contractor in Topeka, KS, working on homes and businesses in Topeka and the cities around it. Our work includes attic, wall, crawl space and basement insulation, blown-in and spray foam insulation, air sealing, vapor barriers, insulation removal and commercial jobs. You'll find the full list on our home page, and you can read about how our crew works on our About page.

Service descriptions on this site are general. The work we do at your house is the work written in your estimate or agreement, because no two attics or crawl spaces are the same.

Estimates and pricing

We give free in-person estimates, with no pressure and no obligation. Each estimate is based on what we can see and reach during the visit, the work you ask for and material prices at that time.

Some problems only show up once the job is open, like old insulation that's wet or full of droppings, damaged framing, or gaps hidden under existing material. If we find something that changes the scope or the price, we'll stop, show you what we found and get your approval before doing any extra work.

Unless your estimate says otherwise, the price can change if material costs rise before the job is scheduled. We'll tell you before any change takes effect.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We set a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Weather, material deliveries and earlier jobs running long can move that date, and we'll let you know as soon as we do.

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work areas and to clear stored belongings out of the attic, crawl space or other work area, unless we've agreed in writing to do that for you.

Some work, spray foam in particular, means everyone in the house, including kids and pets, has to stay out for a period after we finish. We'll tell you when it's safe to come back inside, and you agree to follow that instruction.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, call us as early as you can. If we've already ordered special materials for your job or arrived on site, you may owe for those costs as set out in your agreement.

Payment terms

Any deposit, the payment methods we accept and when the balance is due are written in your estimate or agreement. If it doesn't say otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.

If a payment is late, we may pause any remaining work until it's settled. You're responsible for reasonable costs of collecting an unpaid balance, to the extent Kansas law allows.

Warranties and what we can't promise

We stand behind our work, so if something doesn't look right after we finish, call us and we'll come take a look. Any written warranty on our workmanship will be in your agreement, along with what it covers and for how long.

Insulation, foam, vapor barriers and other products come with whatever warranty their makers offer, and we'll pass those along to you. Beyond what's in writing, and to the extent the law allows, we make no other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

We can't promise a set drop in your power bill or a set temperature in any room, because those also depend on your heating and cooling system, ductwork, windows and how the house is used.

Limits on our liability

We're licensed and insured, and we take care to protect your home while we work. To the extent Kansas law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of your home or higher energy costs.

We also aren't responsible for conditions that were there before we started and that we didn't cause, like hidden moisture, pests, mold, roof leaks or wiring we didn't install. If we spot one of these, we'll point it out so you can decide what to do.

Our total liability for any claim tied to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Resolving a disagreement

If you're unhappy with anything, please call us first at (785) 246-7785 or reach us through our contact page. Most problems get fixed with a visit and a straight conversation.

If we can't settle it together in good faith, either of us may bring a claim in a court with proper jurisdiction in Kansas. Nothing here stops either of us from using small claims court where it applies.

Governing law

These terms, this website and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version is always the one posted on this page. The version in place when you accept an estimate is the one that applies to that job.

If you have a question about any of these terms, get in touch through our contact page or call (785) 246-7785.
